Hi, I’m from Indonesia. I’m a huge fan of your anime “Kyoukai no Kanata” which was aired in 2013. It was a great movie with many plot twists and high school romance delivered by the movie. Although there was a sequel of it in “Mirai – hen” in 2015, could u make another sequel or even serials about “Kyoukai no Kanata” in 2018 again??! I think, many of us would like to see how akkey and kuriyama continues their life in the future 🙂 hope this idea will come up to your consideration, thanks and cheers from ID 🙂

@hinagaya The first movie came out last month, it was a recap of the show. And the second movie is coming out on the 25 of April. The movies won’t be available to watch outside of Japan until six months after the theatrical release when the movies have had a Blu-Ray and DVD release. So we’ll be able to watch them online (or download a torrent) around September or October 2015.

やはり過去編では、一番に、「境界の彼方」という最強クラスの妖夢が、なぜ神原秋人君の身体に侵入?するに至ったのか?他にも、秋人君の誕生秘話、特にお父さんが登場していないので、あのお母さんとのなれそめナンカを知りたいと思っていますが、上映時間的に無理があるかなぁ～?それと未来編は、未来さんとの仲も気になるし、美月さんのこともすごく気になっているんですが、秋人君のこと好きだと思うんだけれど、半妖であり、自身は地元の名士で異界師でも名門の次女であることがネックになっているし、未来さんはというと、呪われた血統の異界師ということもありで、お互いに秋人君への想いだけではどうにもクリアーできない問題が山積しすぎて、過去編、未来編だけで話を終わらせてはいけない気がしてならないですね。やはり氷菓もそうなんですが、第２部、第3部とつづいてほしい京都アニメーションの名作であってほしいと願ってやまないですね。コメントが長文になり失礼いたしました。また、このありったけの胸の内をここまで読んで下って誠にありがとうございました。

For people who are confused about how this works, this is the Gekijouban Kyoukai no Kanata “I’ll Be Here” Mirai-hen which takes place one year after the original television series.
Gekijouban Kyoukai no Kanata “I’ll Be Here” Kako-hen is just a recap of the original TV series with some new scenes as usual and from a different perspective.
In other words, the first movie is a recap, the second one is a sequel.
