And regarding K-On!, it’s Hobunsha you should ask for a third season. KyoAni is a studio but it doesn’t own these two anime. It’s up to the publishers to make a third season.

I actually just looked at the airing dates on the iwatobi website, and it turns out that this show airs on several different days on different channels, so you aren’t wrong or anything, but there is more than one, which I hope won’t make subbing too complicated; it basically airs between the 3rd and the 7th.
Well you have to think, they’re athletes, and even though I wouldn’t label them as “pros” or “olympic champs”, that’s what happens when you do a sport, and when you do it religiously. Swimming takes a lot of effort and stamina, that’s going to require a lot of fitness training, so it’s only natural they develop tone bodies, not to mention muscle tone, even though it’s more of a lean muscle. 🙂

Of course there’s fanservice for girls. Buttt…we already watched them all (I think) WE NEED MOREEE. And by more Kyoani is doing a great job of making this anime. There’s just that much fanservice for girls, like ok. Black butler is an exception, but some of the times it’s mostly non-canon pairings that we have to imagine (I think). Don’t get me wrong I’m just saying that we girls NEED DIS. Wether it’s to ship, imagine that the boys are your bitches, or to just enjoy the sport of swimming.

It’s a swimmers body. They have to be sleek instead of bulky. Look at famous swimmers. Most of the greats have very slim figures because it helps them glide through the water faster than an overly built person. Swimmers have lots of muscle, but it doesn’t show and bulk up like a body builder.
They did some nice research on the swimming. The flip turns were well drawn out and were accurate. Nice to know that it’s not 100% fanservice, but will have a nice storyline and great attention to detail.

It’s funny how some girls here try to justify that they will not watch it for the ripped hot guys or the manservice but for the “quality”. Just admit it, that’s the point of this show it’s not a bad thing.
The first PV that we saw was a promotion video of the novel titled High Speed which recieved a mention in the KyoAni contest. The anime used the novel as a basis. It was thanks to how viral the video went that made the series get made.
Most of the people who complain are guys anyway, and the majority of them are massive hypocrites considering that they wouldn’t complain if it was a bunch of girls taking their tops off and chests bouncing, as pretty much all anime does some time or other!

hah. the thing is, it’s kyoto animation. since k-on, they specialized in cute moe girls doing cute things, thought with k-on they pandered a little to the yuri fans. while so far i’ve liked everything they’ve come out with anyway, i know there’s people who didn’t like it. i think this is sort of an apology for that as they take the focus off the cutesy stuff.
First off this anime isn’t “yaoi” themed (it’s some of the fans who ship the characters together, which I don’t have a problem with since I’m a fujioshi myself). Seriously? Most guys take their shirts off when they swim. I know some girls wear their shirts when they swim but guys hardly ever do. And of course they are going to be dripping wet because they swim. It is impossible to swim without getting wet.
You should really be more respectful of the fans and their ships.
