As excited as I am for the next episode it looks like it’s straying away from the main romance plot and into more of a slice of life comedy kind of thing. Really disappointing IMO.
Well, wherever I look I see it categorized as romance AND SoL, or “SoL romance”, so I wouldn’t be that surprised. It’s by no means a plot-driven show anyway. I mean it’s not as if we watch Lord of the Rings and Yuuta has the clear mission to throw Rikka into Mount Doom or anything.
Both the first and second seasons revolve around the plots of the first and second light novels respectively. The slice of life is most certainly filler, but I think episode 3 should’ve given a good idea of what’s to come in terms of the romance.
