Kyoto Animation Fire Aftermath – In Remembrance of Kyoani

The fire set at Kyoto Animation studio leaves us with more than 30 Kyoani staff murdered and over 30 in the hospital with burn wounds they may never recover from. My heart hurts for the victims and family and I cannot stop thinking of the horrific way in which they were killed. Such horrible things done to such amazing and inspirational people. We are left asking why and how this could happen. Kyoani is beacon of light in our community. Let us always remember the works and lives of those who have fallen. #PrayForKyoAni

I would like to tell you a story
Once apon a time there was a boy who has lost everything, he lost his trust in his friends , he lost love with his family , he lost his motivation in life , he lost lots of parts of his sanity, and so much more , however he one day found kyoto animation , he first watch lucky star because he thought of ways to waste time . Turns out , he realised that those tume he spend was all earned for that fact that for the fist time in a long time , he smiled. He soon watch haruhi , k on,voliet evergarden and so much more , because of thar he found love he found happiness he found many great people he found love he found passion and most importanly he found a reason to live, if wernt for kyoani, the life of this kid might have been short lived , but it didnt because kyoani made a difference . And now he lives in happiness because kyoani was one of two components that bring him to the world of anime. I only know this because that boy was me. So if anyone is reading this i just want to say thank you for readung this long ass comment and I can never say thank you enough to the people of kyoani for saving me from depression and insanity ,may haruhi help you heal fast

I can’t believe that people in this world are so horrible. The anime Industry will never be the same. Kyoto Animation is one of my favorite animation studios and it truly breaks my heart that this has happened. I wish nothing but the best for the families that lost someone in this horrible attack.

May we leave a Bible verse here for everyone we lost? The reason I am asking is that I am Catholic and when I hear events especially this I just want to pray to Jesus to help these people.

No matter what, the entire event is tragic. However, you are completely correct. Around a third of the people who died in this event were men. Much of the larger news networks feel the need to make it a point that Kyoto Animation hired women despite how irrelevant it is to this tragedy. It is true that this is one of the aspects that makes Kyoto Animation so great, but it sometimes feels like they’re forgetting 30% of the workers who lost their lives. In the end, nothing about this situation is very pleasant.

Did he imply only women are sole contributors? My man, words may not captured all he want to delivered. Just take a grain of salt, we are not complete either.

Violet Ever-garden and A silent voice are the only things that have made me cry in years and it breaks my heart that the brilliant minds behind them have to suffer like this, we live in a unfair world where we lose the best things before the bad things go away. I don’t think I will ever love a movie as much as I did a silent voice, it impacted me so much that I had learned sign language so I could talk with a neighbor of mine who was having troubles in her old age. My heart is broken and I send my prayers to the victims and families, I send them my love and I pray and hope that we lose no more of these great and wonderful minds which has impacted our world in such good and gracious ways.

They did indeed! The director for Hyouka, Takemoto Yasuhiro is currently reported to be missing. His impact at Kyoto Animation simply cannot be understated. It is truly a shame to think someone so talented and special might have been critically effective by this tragedy. It was highly likely that, he might have been working on MIss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 2, and to think what could potentially be his final work may never even see the light of day is truly a shame.

No one deserved the attack. No one needed that nightmare come to life. This is an atrocity that will haunt us forever.

We can never allow this to happen again.

“God only cries for the living

‘Cause it’s the living that are left to carry on

And all the angels up in Heaven

They’re not grieving because they’re gone

There’s a smile on their faces

‘Cause they’re in a better place
God only cries for the living

‘Cause it’s the living that are so far from home”
-Diamond Rio, God Only Cries

I wish to personally sing this song to the families who lost their loved ones in Kyoto Animation.
My deepest, sincerest prayers to the victims of the KyoAni tragedy.

I hope school victims who survived such an atrocity are rewarded with the compensation and justice I also hope that the perpetrator of such an atrocity it’s forced to suffer not only the worst and dignity known to man but also worst penalty they can receive I originally thought this penalty was death but that would be a great deal to easy for one who would comit such a crime I pray for healing and justice to the victims
