I had soooo much fun making this painting. Agreed….it is huge…and also agreed…pretty insame using watercolors for it…but I was down to it and it worked great!!
I got the smooth faces that I hoped for and overall the watercolor feel was cool. Not soo easy covering large areas with the same opacity of the pigments but well…there is always something, right?! The painting is based on the characters from the Free! Animated series, all credits to Kyoto Animation :).
SOOOOOO if you are also into Anime series make sure you also watch the FREE! Anime….We have watched it over and over again and still love it. The way it is painted, the storyline and the overall feel…
